Gardening & Landscaping
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
can you order trees online
and if so who has good prices.. I'm willing to buy smaller trees to save $$$ but I don't want a sapling either.
Re: can you order trees online
Most online nurseries sell very small trees: bareroot saplings. This is because of shipping. Think about how much soil weighs. Are there no decent nurseries near you? A lot of them will deliver, and some will install.
Here's an online nursery, located in TN: http://www.greenwoodnursery.com/page.cfm/21
This link will take you to a L-O-N-G list of TN nurseries: http://www.helpfulgardener.com/nursery/nurseries/tennessee.html
What kind of trees do you want?
If you're willing to deal with saplings, order online. Otherwise you may need to compromise something in order to buy locally. I like http://www.raintreenursery.com/ for fruit trees, everything I've order from them has flourished!
