I am Polish but I lost my Polish last name when I got married so I was thinking about getting a tattoo of either a saying in Polish or some sort of symbol. I have never had a tattoo before and I am so scared in 10 years I would regret doing it but I am researching some different options. I would get it somewhere on my side (I think) so that it would always be hidden unless I was in a bikini.
Do any of you ladies have a tattoo? Do you regret getting one?

Re: Thinking about a tattoo
If you get one you might want to consider getting it somewhere else. If you and your H plan on having kids, your body might not be the same post baby so think about what your sides will look like. That's really the only advice I have.
I don't have one and for the longest time I didn't think I'd ever want one but lately I've been thinking about getting one with DD's name or something to represent DD like her initials and/or DOB. We'll see, I probably won't do it but I'm not ruling it out either.
That sounds like an good idea for a tattoo! I'd go for it. But like Stacie said, maybe change the location (if you plan on having kids). Also, depending on your pain tollerance too. Places that don't really hurt too bad are the lower back, shoulder, arm and ankle area.
I have 6 tattoos and I don't regret getting any of them. I plan on getting another one after Izzy is born on my shoulder.
If you are interested in talking to an artist, I can give you the name to the guy that my DH and I go to.
Good luck and HTH!
