ETA: This lists Memphis' frost date as Nov. 6th. That sounds much better than the Oct. 16th/18th dates I find on other sites. I've worn shorts in Oct around here.
They also have guides for spring planting, etc... very helpful the UTK extension.
I think Nov 7 is right. We haven't had a frost before that since I lived in TN and we are slighly cooler than Memphis.
