Well I tried my friends mom but i'm not really too happy...last time my mom went to pick G up he was sitting in his car seat with a bottle propped in his mouth bc my friends daughter wouldn't let her gma (the sitter) hold him to feed him. Not cool with me. Really makes me wonder if hes sitting in the bouncer and car seat all day. I know she's got other kids to tend to and i totally understand, i worked in daycare before i know how you can't always give each child 100% but he's just over 4 months old and he needs a little more attention.
So now i'm sort of stuck between 2 people...the one person is great but she's 25 minutes out of my way.. she's got 1 or 2 other kids there during the week and my niece 2 days a week... i just have to see if she's willing to accomodate me with our $...or he'll have to go to his original sitter (the one who only has him but her house smells of smoke
/) until i can find another option.
Can't i just win the lotto and be a SAHM? lol
Re: new sitter again!
I totally understand why you wouldn't be pleased. Not only does Gio need more attention because of his age, it is also very dangerous just to prop a bottle up in a baby's mouth. I wouldn't like that either.
Seems like the lady that is out of the way might be worth the extra time. I know it takes from the time that you get to spend with Gio at home, but at least you feel comfortable with his care during the day.
Sorry you are having to deal with this!
Exactly! It's bad enough he chokes sometimes when i'm feeding him
Ugh, this makes me worry about if I ever have kids and what we're going to do!
Too bad you weren't in the same area as one of my friends- she watches kids and just had all of her kids go to school. She just has one son left and he's almost school age as well, so she could spend a lot of time with an infant (and would).
I hope this works out for you- sending dust your way that you find a better arrangement closer to you!! And that the person 25 minutes out of the way can accomodate Gio until you get a better arrangement.

Ugh I would be upset too. I watch 3 kids every day and I'm able to give all of them the attention they need. None of them are lacking attention. To bad you don't live here or we live there I would totally watch him. Collin and Gio would have a blast HEHE..
But I would check into the lady that's 25 mins away and hopfully she'll understand what you need for GIo. Have you tried looking for a SAHM to watch him at all? I know in our area there's a lot of women that do it.
I hope you can find an option that you feel comfortable with Pammy. Childcare is such a hard thing to deal with! ::hugs::
