S/O Canning in the Randoms post
Who here cans? What do you can? Where did you learn? Where do you store them?
I learned from my grandma. My grandma, mom and I just finished 35 quarts of tomatoes, 10 pints of regular salsa and 10 pints of black bean and corn salsa. Yum
We will be doing applesauce and apple butter soon. My grandma has a wonderful root cellar for everything she cans (how she fed her big family) but I just keep my stuff in the dark pantry.

I took a class at Trillium Haven. It was really helpful for me to see someone do it in person. The Ball Blue Book of Canning also has great info in it and is fairly inexpensive.
I have a list of classes in the area on my blog

all price ranges, some free!
So far I've done:
green beans from grandma's garden (20+ quarts- I don't remember how many)
pears (13 quarts)
peaches (15+ quarts)
We still have to do tomatoes. I won't do many of those. I don't use them often.
My grandma helps me do all of it. I need to figure it out better for myself so I know how to do it. It's a little hard to learn the trade while your 12m old runs crazily through the house :O)
