Fall Decorating yet?

I see posts on the D&R board but it makes more sense to Poll local girls.  Have you put out any fall decorations?  I'm sooooo anxious and did already change living room throw pillows but DH is holding me back from the wreath & all the extras.  Do I have to wait?  How long?

One girlfriend already put out some of hers so i figured it was Ok.  What your thoughts?

We actually put all of our up on Labor Day weekend. I was ready for a change in the house.

I have a fall wreath on my door... and a pumpkin scented candle. I don't really decorate for fall, though I do have a few halloween decorations I'll put out Oct 1.?

I love decorating for fall (and any holiday/season really) and I started this week. I put a few things outside and starting to work on the inside. This year I'm trying a DIY wreath, we'll see how that goes...

I should have the rest of the stuff up by the end of the weekend. Then first week of October I'll probably put a few halloween-specific decorations. I guess maybe I think subconciously that if I decorate then it will make the weather be more fall like.

I usually wait until the first or second weekend in Oct. to put fall decos up.  We also put out fall/winter flowers at that time...

I'm with PP who can't get in a fall mood because of the heat!  To me, autumn is when it starts to get cold and all the leaves change.  80 degrees and green foliage is just not doing it for me!  LOL

Actually, we don't really decorate for the fall anyway.  However, I did buy a big pretty mum that I planted in the front yard.  That counts for something, right?  I would also like to buy a couple of pumpkins and then carve them when it gets closer to Halloween.  And I might put up a fall wreath.  

I'll probably wait until the beginning of Oct to do any decorating, though.

I can't decorate because there is still stuff allllllll over the house that needs to be unpacked! And we just got our laptops back from being in the shop for the last (almost) 3 months...did I mention that we haven't written all of the thank you notes from our MAY wedding?!

 

OMG! I'm the worst person ever...I wish I could find my fall decorations in my mess! lol

Last year I went all out and made the Martha Stewart glitter pumpkins!  It was fun and they looked awesome.  Plus, I had them still when Thanksgiving was at my house!

Well I went for it   I don't decorate for Halloween and I was ready to take down some of my summer stuff.  Yeah, I know we don't ever really experience much of a fall around here but I just feel like so what, I want to get to enjoy seeing some of these decorations i have.  It's not overboard:

changed living room throw pillows
added a garland of gourds on mantle
changed filling of a vase
changed out decorations on armoire
put out the wreath,
put mums in the garden & put out a picket sign decoration

I am still holding off on a few more things i have til October.  Most of the above is a change in color scheme w/out going all out Fall (the wreath is the exception). 

Hmm, but now I want to make those glitter pumpkins!  I saw/heard about them last year on the boards but didn't get around to it.  DH would hate them though!

The only season I decorate for is Christmas.

?But, even if I did decorate, we're in the middle of a?renovation?right now and the house is a disaster zone! ?

I love fall, but it's just really not a season here. I don't decorate for it either. I'm pretty much a Christmas only kind of girl. DH wants a Halloween bday this year, so I have bought a few things for that. Mainly party stuff and a few decorations for outdoors.
