Newer GR Nesties

It seems like that we have had a few Nesties that have checked in saying they were moving to the area. Wondering how that is going, are you settled in yet, haven't moved?

What about our newly wedded brides that may be lurking. Come on in and say hello.

Re: Newer GR Nesties

  • Kind of a side note to your post. Has anyone every thought of going over the the knot board's and inviting the soon to be wife's over. I didn't know about the nest until another bride told me. I would never have thought to look past the knot.

It doesn't just kick you over anymore?  Sometimes still, I go to the knot, and it transfers me to the nest!

I remember when we all got booted originally--what an uproar. :)

  • Living in GR has been quite a change from living in Orlando Florida. We like it though. We are trying to find a church we feel at home in, and we are trying to make new friends. Other than that, we are becoming very comfortable here :)

  • Hi!  I am a new GR Nestie and posted a few times when I was looking for rental housing.  I am moved in now and settled, just waiting to start my job!  I just posted about my frustrating situation regarding my MI nursing license endorsement and how it is keeping me from starting- I have been in town 3 weeks just fiddling around town waiting for the license to come through.  This is a great time for me to explore, at least!  Send me any "must do's" or ideas to explore- I would love to hear from you guys!  erinlnulf@gmail.com

  • I am new to GR as well. We are still getting settled, we moved about 2 weeks ago. Loving it so far. We are much closer to family now. Just started working at Spectrum and loving that as well.
