We're thinking of going to Montreal in November with some friends, and it'd be cool if we could get hockey tickets. They're playing Ottawa during the time we're planning to go up there. Tickets go on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m.
Think there's any chance we can get these, or are we just kidding ourselves? Anyone ever tried to get Montreal tickets before? Am I going to have to get on the website around 4 a.m. to get in the cue?
Habs fans come to Devils games by the busload because it's (apparently) so hard to get tickets to home games up there. They're such enthuasiastic fans while they're visiting, so I'd love to see a game on their home turf and see how into it they can REALLY get.
Re: Canadiens tickets
They come to Islander's games too, and we asked and they said it's because it's hard to get tickets and it's cheaper to come here to go to the games.
Good Luck, hope you find tickets. Maybe you can find some presale floating around before they go public.

Thanks, we'll have to wake up early and make sure we're logged in and ready to go.
I have to say, they're very nice fans. Enthusiastic but not obnoxious or rude. They pack the Prudential Center for Habs vs. Devils games but there's never a problem.
My friend who lives near Toronto said the same thing about Leafs games ... it'd actually be cheaper for her to get inexpensive Devils tickets, then drive down to Jersey to see the game and get a hotel for the night, than to buy Leafs tickets.
