Halloween Cocktails?

We are attending an adult only halloween party and everyone is asked to bring a Halloween themed cocktail! Any ideas? I did a pumpkin martini last year at my wedding, but want to do something different!

Re: Halloween Cocktails?

  • I have a huge blowout Halloween party every year, and we make what I call "Bobbin for Apples" punch.  It's essentially a big martini, so it can be easily modified down.

    Apple Vodka

    Apple Schnapps

    Sprite

And apple wedge and sugar to garnish.

When I make my punch, I freeze a bag of apples and put them in the huge punch tub to keep the batch cold.  Then it really is like bobbing for apples!

  • We made candy corn jello shooters one year.  Make orange and yellow jello, but substitute one half of the water with vodka.  First make the orange jello and pour into clear plastic cups (we used small ones used for punch or wine), filling it 1/4 way up.  Put in the fridge and let set up.  Next, make the yellow jello and pour into cups, on top of the orange jello.  Put in the fridge and let it set up.  Right before serving, use Reddi-Whip to fill the remainder of the cup.  The finished product looks like Candy Corn!!  We had to serve ours with spoons, and each jello cocktail was the equivalent of about 3-4 jello shots.  Everyone loved them!

  • I brought Halloween jello shots to a party last year - jello shots with gummy severed fingers/eyeballs/brains in them.

  • This is really good. It says non-alcoholic, but there's alcohol listed as optional that makes it great. It's also very delicious with spiced rum.

What did you use to put them in, just in case ;)?  What a great idea!!!

  • Washington Apple:

    1 part Crown Royal Whiskey

    1 part Apple Pucker

    1 part Cranberry Juice

It tastes just like a red apple and is SO delicious. I don't like Whiskey but you can't even taste it.
