Last Friday night I was shopping with a friend at Triangle Town Center. We were in ATL and lost track of time, so it was past 9 when we finished up with our purchases. We had parked outside of Dillard's, but they had already closed their gate. It was a nice night, so we weren't too worried about the hike around the building over to our car. As we came out of the building, a guy started following us. At first we both thought we might be making this up in our head, but as we walked down a hill, then decided to head back up the hill (in hopes of losing him) he still was following us! We decided to head to a nearby restaurant to call mall security to escort us to our car. They came right away and were very nice about escorting us.
Just wanted to share to remind everyone to be aware of your surroundings. DH was annoyed we didn't call the cops, but for some reason that never even crossed our minds! Oh well, at least we got home safe!
Re: Scary Moment at TTC
Yes, we gave him a full description of the guy all the way down to which pant leg was rolled up. They said they would be writing up a report and make the RPD officers on mall duty aware of the incident.
I'm glad your safe!! That's really freaky!
We went to DC over the weekend and DH got us lost *stupid GPS good for nothin phone* and we couldn't find the metro spot. It was almost 8 and getting darker and then some hobo started following us. It was a stressful night. He bought me a boston creme doughtnut though to make up for it . .
Then last night I got an alert text from Campus security saying there was an attempted robbery, but the victim had nothing to rob so they failed, but it was on campus at like 1am. . I told DH I need to get some Mace. . .
Where do you buy Mace? Walmart?
Anyways, yes, very glad your safe and even though you didn't call the cops while walking, I feel you guys made a great choice in going to the restaurant!
