Moving to San Antonio

Will be renting either a house or an apartment. H will be working at Fort Sam Houston.

What areas do we want to avoid?

We have a kid, but she's 2 so school district is really not of importance at the moment (will most likely not be living there when she gets to school age, and if we are we'll be renting so we can move)

Thanks!

Re: Moving to San Antonio

  • I don't have any opinions on areas to avoid... but if you let us know of potential neighborhoods you are interested in, we could all probably check them out for you or chime in!

  • Yeah, it would be hard to tell you what areas to avoid w/o knowing what you would like to avoid. I like North central to North East area. I find the North West side to be a bit busy for my liking. Alamo Heights is really close to Ft Sam. I don't know how much of a commute he is ok with.
