West Michigan/Michigan To dos
Ok, since we have a few new out-of-state Nesties here, let's share what is so great about the region and the state in whole. What are you must dos.
Re: West Michigan/Michigan To dos
Here are some of my ideas, I was also trying to keep in mind good places to go for Nursegirl (sorry forgot your SN) to go and hangout for free/cheap
Fulton Street Farmer's Market
Any of the Lakeshore towns for shopping or to go to the Beach
Holland, Grand Haven, Saugutuck, South Heaven
Sports - West Michigan Whitecaps baseball in the summer, Griffins hockey in Winter
Biking/walking paths - Kent Trails and the Whitepine Trails (goes through Rockford area)
Rockford - farmer's market on Saturday, get an ice cream cone, walk along the dam, visit the shops, or walk/bike the trail
Millenium Park - nice bike path and small beach area in the summer
East Grand Rapids - Walk along Reeds Lake, look at the shops, ice cream cone at Jersey Junction
Easttown/East Hills/ Cherry Hill - fun and unique stores.
East Town has Yesterdogs for hot dogs (this is debateable among people on this board about whether they have good dogs or not)
hayrides/apple picking. I just found a website the other day that lists all the orchards
