Can anyone rec a good (and reasonable) lawyer?
One who specializes in wills? We don't have anything that would be too complicated but since we have DD I want to be sure everything is done properly and legally. I'd prefer one that is on the north side of the city (and not too expensive!). TIA!
Re: Can anyone rec a good (and reasonable) lawyer?
It is great that you are thinking of this!
I don't have a lawyer rec, but you can use this website for very simple documents: http://www.legalforms.com/
You would need a Will, POA for Health Care, Living Will, and POA for Financial Decisions. Another REALLY important thing that lots of people overlook is to make sure your beneficiary designations (IRAs, Roth IRAs, 401(k), life insurance, any other employee benefit) are set up properly!
I use this firm for work all the time, and I think they're great!
