New to the Nest
Hi ladies. My name is Katie and I live in Phoenix. I always hang around on The Bump and I came across the Phoenix Nesties board today and you girls look like you are a lot of fun to talk with so I wanted to join you. I have a son he will be 10 weeks old tomorrow. I also have two fur-babies my dogs Amelia and Maverick they are a Bull Mastiff and a Great Dane.
I hope to get to be friends with all of you.

I am originally from Connecticut, I have been out here for 7 years now. I love it. Great Danes are awesome but so much work. He is still a puppy (1 year old) and is just very clumsy and I have had my fair share of bruises because of him.

That is what I hear about Great Danes. We saw one at the puppy store in the mall (that place makes me so sad) but his paws were HUGE! I looked at CJ and said "oh please maybe someday can we have one" and his response was "don't even think about it!" haha he likes smaller dogs

How can he say no to a Great Dane puppy? They are the cutest puppies in the world. You should bring him to the dog park when they do the Great Dane meet-ups and he would change his mind. When you have a dog your size that you can wrestle with, it changes everything. Ignore my terribly messy room. Amelia is the Tan one (Bullmastiff) Maverick is the black one (Great Dane) this is him a few months ago I think he is maybe 8 months old in this picture.
She sure does love to play, she is 9 and still has so much energy i love it because even if you are having the worst day there she is with her doggy smile with toy options for you! hahaha
