We're getting together with 2 other couples Saturday night but none of can think of anything to do. Pre-pregnancy we would usually go bar hopping on Mill, but obviously that's a no-go now. We just went bowling a few weeks ago, we don't really want to do that again.
So, I need some ideas! Ideally we'd like to actually do something (vs. just having dinner or sitting around somewhere), alcohol should be available (but not a bar where I'll feel uncomfortable) and it should be a low key atmosphere (meaning, our friends don't wear anything nicer than jeans and tees and have lots of tattoos- we won't fit in at a museum, LOL). Dave and Busters is a possibility, but we're not sold on the idea.
TIA!
Re: Need group date night ideas
Have you ever been to Jesterz? It's an improv comedy place in Scottsdale. I guess it doesn't quite fit your requirement of doing something but it's fun and low key.
Casino Arizona does Showstoppers Live every Saturday at 7 and 9. They have performers impersonating musicians like Elvis, the Temptations, Tina Turner. It's a lot of fun. Tickets are free, you just pick them up at the casino. I'm not sure how much in advance you need to get tickets but you might be able to pick them up tomorrow for this Saturday. The only thing is you might need to get there early to make sure you get a seat. There's also a two drink minimum per person, but I don't think they necessarily have to be alcoholic drinks.
You could hit the casino after the show too
Oh, but they should.
I agree!!
Thanks for the suggestions ladies- I didn't even think of a comedy club! We're going to the Improv, it should be fun for everyone!
We went to a teppanyaki (sp?) place last night as a double date and it was really fun. It's a little more exciting then just sitting and eating together since there is something to watch while you eat.
