Okay who can suggest a photography class and camera for me?
in my spare time lol...I think I'd like to take a class. Years ago when I was probably 15, my uncle bought me a really nice camera and sent me to a class at the art museum. I really like it but lost interest b/c I was too young to appreciate it.
Well... i'd love to get into it again esp b/c of the kids and I just need a hobby. Where do I start?
And what is the best camera to start with, and about how much does it cost?
Re: Okay who can suggest a photography class and camera for me?
I would look at getting one of the Canon Rebels or a Nikon D3000, D5000 or D90. The lowest end entry level cameras are going to start at around $500 with the kit lens and they go up in price from there.
As for taking a class, you could look into taking one at a community college if you don't feel like you would do well trying to teach yourself. I think Kohne camera in Pburg has classes too but I know nothing about them.

"Cheese!"
My friend took one at the art museum and she loved it. (this was two years ago).
I wonder if Penta has one too...or any of the community centers.
I will keep a look out for you. Randomly I come across a lot of lectures and classes with a project I'm working on.
