I mentioned in my post a few days ago that my back was hurting... well it hasn't gone away and has actually gotten worse.

I didn't sleep a bit last night. My work is setting up a referral for me to get an ultrasound because the pain is around my kidney/spleen but they can't set it up until after Monday. I am contemplating going down to Sparrow but I really, really don't want to!

I hope that you ladies had fun at your GTG and I am sorry I missed it!

I think you should go to the ER! I have had 2 kidney infections and it was the worst pain I've ever felt. They will even get you in a cat scan to check for stones. If it is an infection of some sort, you don't want to wait any longer. Good luck and let us know!

This is the reason I am avoiding the ER. I don't want a Cat scan because it is a HGUE amount of radiation and I had one in Jan because they thought I had appendicitis. They order too many tests there and I have to pay out of pocket because I have a deductible. Today it hasn't been too bad, just a dull ache and I have no fever or any other symptoms so I think I can tough it out until tomorrow when I get get myself into an outpatient ultrasound. If I didn't have to worry about paying I would have been there two days ago so it really frustrates me when I see all these people at my work with Medicaid.
