Baptism Gift?

I can't remember the last time we went to a baptism for a family member or friend and now have two coming up in the next month. What is an appropriate gift? (One is for our first niece and the other is for a cousin.)

Re: Baptism Gift?

  • What about a savings bond or a deposit into the kids 529 acct?

  • That's a great idea. Thanks!

They have a ton of things, and they are all something that the little ones will cherish forever, most of these things will be around for a long time.

Other wise, I have made it a habbit to make each one of my nieces and nephews an embroidered hankey, with their full name, and a small little saying (each one different) so that they can have that on their wedding day... ( the girls will have it as something old, and the boys can use it as a pocket square, or to just keep in their pocket to keep from crying).

    Hope this helps!

  • In our family we usually do savings bonds, or a small piggy bank with a check inside.
