Bridal Shower Location

I am planning a bridal shower for my sister in February.  She wants to have it at a third-party-location (not somebody's house), but the guest list is so small, it's not worth renting out a hall or anything like that.  My first thought was to find a restaurant with a private room that we could use.

Ideally, I'd like it to be somewhere in west county but I'm not set on it.  As far as capacity, she says the guest list will be around 25, so I would think 20 would come (max).  The cheaper, the better. :)

Any suggestions??  Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Bridal Shower Location

  • My bridal shower was at a restaurant's private room in SoCo.  It worked quite well for the same number of people you described.  Just remember, if you're doing it at a restaurant, they will likely require that you buy food from them, not bring it in yourself.  (They let my friend bring a cake and other desserts, but she had to buy the drinks and food from them.)
  • Which restaurant was your shower at?

  • We had our rehearsal dinner at Macaroni Grill by Chesterfield mall, they have a large back room next to a beautiful fireplace that they can split up and a great small menu. Old Spaghetti Factory is another place with divided rooms with a fair per person price. A friend of mine had her bridal shower and baby shower at Sunset 44 in Kirkwood, cute place with a room for 20 or so, they do a brunch buffet. Hope that helps!
  • I had my shower at the breakfast room in Comfort Inn Suites, not West Co though. It's St. Charles right off 5th street. It worked great held 25 people. Had plenty of space for food. It was $50 for 4 hours.
