Update on my little cousin

Thanks everyone for your kind words, thoughtfulness, and prayers.  For those of you who don't know, Seth was featured on the Channel 4 news on Thursday night.  If you are interested in watching the news clip, here is the link:http://www.todaystmj4.com/news/local/28634104.html

The doctors are finally talking about Seth's future.  He has had a few sets of surgeries today to put in a feeding tube and to try and close up some of the drainage holes in his neck/face area.  He has a long road ahead of him, but at least we didn't lost him.  He's a fighter...and hopefully will win out in the end.  I cannot thank everyone here enough for their kind words/support.

The other sad news is that Seth was right next door to a little boy with a tumor growing on his stomach.  They found the tumor in July and he just passed away this morning.  He was 3 years old.  I feel so bad for his family (little sister/brother and parents).  Say prayers for them if you can.

Thanks again everyone..and I'm glad I was able to post good news about Seth!

Re: Update on my little cousin

  • I saw it last night on the News. My thoughts and prays are with you and your family and Seth.
  • I also saw it on the news. I'm so glad that things are looking better. I'll keep praying!

  • I'm really glad to hear this. Seth and your whole family will continue to be in my thoughts.
  • My thoughts and prayers are still with your cousin and your family.

The little boy next to him, Cole, was from my hometown. Please keep his family in your prayers. They are absolutely amazing people and I can't even imagine what they are going through, but was amazed by the strength and faith they have shown through the last 8 weeks.
