Re: Get in to Disney for free on you birthday!
Yep, I saw it earlier.
Won't work for me . . . no way I am going in the middle of July! (Plus I know too many peple that work there and I get in free when I go anyway.)
But I think it is cool that they are trying something new.
You could always go to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach and beat the heat!
I got all excited when I first saw that story because my b-day is coming up in a few weeks and I have the day off. Then, I realized it's for 2009, a whole year away. Boo!
But on the bright side, my husband's b-day is in June, so maybe we'll go then. He hasn't been to disney in 25 years, so he really needs to go sometime.
We're planning on getting seasonal passes this year, so I love the idea of the $75 gift card! It would definitely be worth "stopping by" the parks on my husband's birthday, even if it does fall in July. lol
However, I wouldn't count 100% on that gift card. With the language used on Disney's site, they aren't guaranteeing this option will be available to you. They state, "you have several options which are available for you to select once you arrive at the Park with your confirmation message and your proper ID. You can receive..." Based on their wording "you *can* receive", I'd say they are giving themselves room to change their mind. I worked for them for several years...so I've seen this type of verbage before. lol
Where did you find out the info on the Disney website? I haven't had any luck finding it myself and I'm curious to read the details!
I ended up finding it finally! In case anyone else is interested in the details that the website provides ....here is the link:

Haha, you beat me to it! I had just finished making the tinyurl when I saw your post!
