Anyone have to bring a kenmore vacuum in fir a warranty issue?
We bought a new canister vacuum in feb. With in a few mos we started having problems with the cord. Now the cord won't stay out when I pull it out to vacuum and when bringing it in a small part that does stay out won't go in unless I pull it out push the button pull out push button a few times. I need to take it in. When we bought it they said the service center is in the town over from us so all we need to do is take it to them for problems we have. We did buy the plan for it as well. I called the service center to see if I just bring it in or if I need an appt. They said to just bring it in and they send it in for repair. It can be up to a week before it comes back. I was under the impression when I bought it they did the work there. So I'm going to be out of a vacuum for up to a week. I asked if they had vacuums for the time I'm with out on and was told no. So for anyone who has had to bring a vacuum in how long did it take to get back. I'm starting to nest big time already in this pg. I have a black lab that sheds a lot, a 3 year old who makes messes, 2 cats and a husband who also make messes. I don't think I can be with out a vacuum for a week. If I was not nesting it would not be a problem. But I need the cord thing fixed so it needs to go in. So just wondering how long it took you to het your back.
