Happy 6 Months
I can't beleive it, my little peanut is 6 months old today. It literally feels just like yesterday that we were bringing her home from the hospital. Time has just flown by. She changes so much every day. It is jsut amazing watching her grow and develop. She is laughing up a storm lately which always brings a huge smile to my face. We have her 6 month appt on Tuesday, so probably next week we will start her on some cereal. I am so nervous about starting solids. I have no clue really where to begin when or how much to give her. I think I will be asking the doctor on Tuesday a lot of questions.
My poor little girl has a cold though today. Her litle nose is all red and her nose is running. We were suppose to go get her pictures taken today, but I think I am going to postpone them until next Saturday. I don't want her looking like rudolph in the pictures. I think we will just have a relaxing mother/daughter day together.

The time really does fly by, which is so sad and exciting at the same time! I can't believe that Brianna is 20 MONTHS already!! wow!! My father made a comment the other day about how big Brianna was getting and how she'd be in first grade before I knew it! And I said to him.. "nooooo, don't even go there !" I don't want to think about that!! = )
Starting cereal will be fun and interesting! It will take her awhile to learn how to eat from a spoon and swallow.. but she'll get it. Just keep trying = ) I think they say 1-2 tablespoons /day mixed with either BM, or formula. Then you can start to increase it to 2xday and also add in some stage 1 foods like pureed fruits and veggies! = ) Be prepared for a mess!!
