How is Alyssa doing? Is she sitting up yet? When are you going to start cereal if you haven't already? She's as cute as a button!!!
Re: Amye
Why thank you!! We think she's the most adorable thing ever, as well!!
She is doing AMAZING. We are so completely in love with her - she's just the light of our lives. Lately she's becoming less of a newborn/baby and more like a little person ... she clearly indicates what she wants and doesn't want, she reaches for things, she talks constantly, she smiles constantly, she giggles constantly, and she's so curious. She sleeps great, she eats great, she's just so happy and fun!! I think she loves us as much as we love her.
She is well on her way to sitting up ... she can sit forward with no assistance and pull herself back up to sitting but it's seconds before she either goes forward again or topples to the side ... but she's getting stronger every day. Her ack muscles are awesome - she does a great tummy time and scoots backwards as well as circles herself around. She also rolls from her front to her back.
We take walks almost every day and she loves it - she's so observant about the things around her, she loves the trees and shadows. She gets really excited for the songs at the library.
We started oatmeal cereal last week ... it's a work in progress because sometimes she takes it, othertimes, she is content to play w/ it in her mouth, as I don't think she quite knows what to do w/ it yet. But it's a good food experience for her nevertheless. She loves her food nets w/ peaches and watermelon.
How are you? And how is Brianna? They grow up too fast. =(
It sounds like Alyssa is doing really well!!! Thats a fun stage where everything is new to them and they can express how they feel! = )
Brianna is doing great! She is 20 months old today, I can't believe it!! = ) She has quite the vocabulary and is constantly talking. I find myself saying sometimes "can you be quite for a minute?" LOL!! She's into coloring now, and we're making progress with the potty. We really only use the potty a night. Its become part of our night time routine- after her bath she uses it. Within the next couple of months I"ll probably start to have her use it more during her day and really start the actual potty training!! She's learned how to say "please" although it comes out as "peassee". Its so cute when she holds up a snack and says " peasse momma" = ) Everything is " no", mine or stop! = ) She's a handful sometimes!
Are you going to take Alyssa trick or treating??
