I didn't mean people as in AFSNEYBCN, I meant people in general, and no, I think people (in general) are judgey even when no infidelity is involved a lot of times.
People assume they know sh*t and judge based on it.

That's just been my general observation about people's reactions when I tell them I'm divorced now (colleagues, extended family, old friends, etc.)

I think people judge it because they feel that they would have somehow known better or "seen it coming" or whatever. It's sad because people and situations change and we all can't be omnipotent.
btw, I'm 1 out of 9 of my parents' children who is NOT divorced. every single one of my siblings is divorced. I don't know if this increases or decreases my odds, but I think about that sometimes.
