Fall GTGs & Little Boo at the Zoo
It's been a long time since there was a GTG, I think the last one was in April? The last one was before I got KU, so it's been awhile.
Last year in October we did the homemade Christmas exchange, is that something people would want to do again? Or maybe just a regular GTG?
Monica and I had talked before about possibly doing an Apple picking GTG with kids, would anyone be interested in doing that? Johnston Fruit Farms in Swanton has a petting zoo for kids on the days they do Apple picking. I would figure out details on what dates it's available if there is interest.
Little Boo at the Zoo is October 21 & 22 this year. I think Kelly
and I both plan on going. Is anyone else interested in going? And would
the Thursday or Friday date work better?

Same here. My comps exam is due at the beginning of November, and October is our busy time at work. Not to mention I have work for both of my internships due. I haven't made it to one yet, and I would like to sometime. The apple picking does sound like a lot of fun!!

I would love to do another Christmas type exchange, maybe an ornament exchange this year, or even just a regular old GTG.
Get some info on the apple picking or orchards and let me know, I love doing that kind of stuff!
I think MIL was talking about taking us to Little Boo on Friday, that thursday I have a consultation with my new OB and I dont want to plan on doing much of anything else that day....
I think I'd be up for the ornament exchange too! Or was it a cookie exchange I remember everyone else doing at Christmas some time ago? But I'd LOVE to do something where we could all have a gtg around Christmas!
The Boo at the zoo I might not be able to though - because I think we are out of town that w/e.
I can't do that one anyway - I work nights and it's during the week.
What about early November for the exchange?
Those dates work for me also so we are in! I got the girls costumes the other day!! WooHoo! Can't wait to see them on them! (Any dates are fine w/ me but since those are the dates Monica can go ... I pick those .. haha.)
It all sounds good! If you guys go to Johnston's on a weekend, N8 and I should be able to go. We can't do Little Boo at the Zoo, but we could make it to the Pumpkin Path!
And early November sounds good for a gift exchange!
