Puppy going in for surgery
Got the puppy scheduled to get spayed in October. Hoping that she doesn't go into heat before then. (Just don't want to deal with that.)
I also can't believe how expensive it is. 
We called around and our regular vet is the cheapest. But dang. Plus the girl has to stay there overnight to make sure she is okay.

We got our dog spayed for ~$60 at the Animal Protection League in Springfield last November. I couldn't believe the ridiculous prices that were quoted to us. We were getting our two males dogs neutered at the same time and definitely couldn't afford $1000 for three dogs. They mentioned the craziest things, too. Lasers, among others. Lasers? Really?
We got 1 female spayed, 2 males neutered, and shots for less than $200. Our dogs were perfectly fine when I picked them up the next morning.
