Happy Hump Day!!

Welcome to Wednesday! :)

How was your evening?  Any big plans today?

Question: If you had $100,000 to spend TODAY, and couldn't spend it on bills- what would you do with it?

Re: Happy Hump Day!!

  • Yay for Wednesday.  I know I'm never really on here.  Just an occasional pop in here and there.

Last night was yuck and great.  I was in a bad mood until I went to Zumba.  Then after that I just couldn't sleep.  So everything but Zumba was yuck.

Only plan today is to lift weight after work.

I would save most of it and the rest use for a long long vacation.

Kasi's book recommendations, liked quotes, book clubs, book trivia, book lists (read shelf)

  • Sorry everything was yuck- but yay for Zumba! Where do you go to class?

Today = meeting with orthopaedic surgeon!

Tonight = long night at work, then doing day 2 of NROL4W- yay. Lots of sleep is planned after that!

If I had 100k to spend today and couldn't spend it on bills, I'd probably buy a new car, a projector so we could watch movies outside, a ton of stuff for our house so we could remodel, buy a looonnggggg vacation somewhere exotic, then go to a really nice dinner, lol.

  • I go to LA Fitness and normally take Zumba classes & lift in Hemet.  I work in Redlands so days when my hubby and I don't carpool I stop by the Redlands or Highland gyms.  My gym only offers Zumba once in the evening during the week so I'm actually thinking I may start heading out to the Temecula one or someother one nearby that has Zumba on another night of the week so I can at least do it twice - 3x a week.

I see you take Zumba classes as well.  Where do you go?  I heard of that book but I haven't looked into it.  I have been working off my friend's training plans (she's a personal trainer).  What's NROL4W have you do the first few days?

  • Surgeon?  What happened?

An yes, a projector is awesome!  We bought one a year ago and love it.  We haven't used it outdoors yet though.  It definitely makes watching movies much more fun.

  • Good Morning.

Last night I came home and printed our work X-mas party invitations.  Then ate dinner and watched Teen Mom.  Played with the dog and the cat and went to bed.

Today is a crappy day.  After work I will go to the gym and then I have to run to Target.  Then home.

ETA: If I had 100k I would use some for IF treatments, a nice vacation to Australia and probably a new car.

  • Nothing out of the ordinary this weel. If  I had $100,000 I would use it to travel the world on a budget, making it last as long as possible before I would have to come home. DH would probably say buy a new car and travel with what was left.
  • Not a bad evening. came home got to visit with DH for a bit which is rare during the week. Watched Wipeout which makes me laugh because DH laughs so much!. Talked on the phone with my sis and played games on FB. Today I plan to go home and start a new book! Have a glass of wine and relax!

If I had $100,000 I would finish furnishing our home, landscape the backyard, go to Hawaii to visit grandpa, get a 4 door vehicle and then save the rest.

  • Good evening! Today we went to Costco to get some things for dh's birthday party that is on Saturday. We had dinner with friends at Chick fil A. I am just checking in real quick and then going to bed as Ivy is sleeping.

$100,000: buy a new car, trip to Hawaii and then put the rest towards a house.

My first NROL4W workout was pretty good!

    2 Sets of 15 Squats
    1 Set of 15 pushups
1 Set of 15 Seated Rows
    1 Set of 15 pushups
1 Set of 15 Seated Rows
1 Set of 15 Step-ups with weights in hands
1 Set of 10 Jackknifes on the Swiss ball
    1 Set of 15 Step-ups
    1 Set of 10 Jackknifes

and that was it.  Each exercise had a 60 second wait between each.
Workout #2 is tonight! I can't remember what is in it- but it is a pretty fast workout overall and I was sore for a couple of days!

I saw the ortho for my knee- I tripped and fell a few months ago and ruptured my PCL.  It is still painful so my dr. wanted me to see an ortho about it.  Now I have to do PT for the next 2 months- no fun :(

I may sound like a dork, but I am quite proud of myself for guessing DH's answer. I asked him and he said: car, computer, than travel.
