I watched the wedding video off of your blog and it made me all misty eyed yesterday, it was so sweet... I am hoping to have a videographer there for at least the ceremony since we are writing our own vows

Thank you so much, I loved the way it turned out too! On the actual DVD that they are sending there are different menu items you can select, so you can watch what you saw on my blog, you can watch the ceremony in full with not edits, you can watch the speeches in full, and on our copy (but not the copy we are giving our parents) you can hear Hugh tell the full story of how we met. It is not parent appropriate, it involves a lot of alcohol and making out all over Scottsdale, haha.
I HIGHLY recommend a videographer if you can fit it in your budget! I was not sure, it was the last thing I booked, but now that I have it I am soooooo happy I do! I can not wait to show my kids someday. At the very least set up a nice video camera for the ceremony, I am sure a friend or family member has one you can use. Being able to watch that again is priceless! If you want info on my videographer let me know, they were amazing!!!
I have a co-worker who is going to ASU for production and video editing and she has said that she would be willing to do it for us because it helps her build her portfolio and I have seen her work and i know she won't jack it up hahaha...
That is so cool you have the different options of what to watch. I lol's so loud when i read about the drinking and making out all over scottsdale hahahaha.
I called CJ and was all we have to do this now it is such a keep sake and we can relive the day over whenever we want and like you said with out little one someday
Oh that is perfect! It is great to get a student, they are usually just as good and are super cheap or even free! I have a friend who is starting up a photography business in SF (she just got her masters at the Academy of Art in SF in Photography) and she just shot another friend's wedding this past weekend for way cheap because it helps build her portfolio, and I personally think her work is just as good as any one else I have seen.
I have personally already watched my video like 20 times, haha, and the wedding was just 5 months ago. But it goes by so fast that you miss a lot, so it was really cool to watch it again.

That is awesome about your friend, I think it is a win win to be able to help build their portfolio but at the same time you get quality work without have to pay an arm and a leg for it
i told my friend to remember me and our wedding when she is big and famous hahah
i would probably watch ours all the time too haha and then make others watch it too... lol
