Has every entertaining blog started to boil down to...
...candy buffets and paper flags that spell out the kid's name or "Happy Birthday?"
I subscribe to a few entertaining/party blogs and all I've seen from all of them lately is a table pushed up against a wall with some dramatic, themed background, a bunch of apothecary jars and cake plates with themed candies and treats and labels that say what said treat are, and a car-sales-lot-like string of upside-down flags each with a letter on it so they spell out something.
Anyone have some inspiration for dinner parties, tablescapes, cocktails, etc?

What are you looking for? I have a good number of late summer/burlap/sunflower pics, autumn/pumpkins/feathers/rich flowers, Christmas and then super fancy stuff. Let me know if any of that appeals and I'll put them on photobucket.
