Recipe club?
The neighbor ladies are always trying to find ways to have a ladies night out, without expense. I was thinking of starting somewhat of a recipe club. Where the host has the main course, and and a few others bring appetizer, sides, dessert. Anyone else do something similar? I'd like your ideas of how it should work, I've heard about it before, but never any details on how to set it up/organize it and specifics. thanks!

My moms group does it once a month. Every month we pick a theme (usually the host will pick) and then everyone makes something for it and the host provides drinks etc. We use evite to make sure we have no duplicates. Some themes we have used in the past are, 5 ingredient or less, Mexican, tapas, drinks & desserts, kid friendly, romantic foods, something you have been afraid to try, we do a app and cocktail party in December, apples, soups & stews.
