Hey ladies. Day 1 of funeral home is done. on to day 2. But I wanted to come tell you girls some stuff we found out. Its actually made me feel soo much better. I was a basketcase but it changed instantly when I heard this.
No smoke was found in my grams lungs! Which means she passed from most likely a heart attack before the fire or smoke even got near her. So she had no idea what was going on. We're thinking she had a cigarette in her hand and dropped it or something though. It would be to much of a coincidence if she had a heart attack then an electrical fire started at the same time. Yes, she's still gone but knowing it was a natural cause and not her suffering/scared, makes it sooo much better for me.
Other sad news though is there was some kind of 911 call error. They went to the wrong place or something first. News said a delay of 50 seconds. But my aunt said yesterday that has changed to 15 MINUTES! And the sad part is there have been 2 more 911 errors on the news since sunday. All 3 are still being investigated I believe. I don't know if we heard for sure if my gram called 911 for pains (there was a call where they couldnt understand the person) and that was the error call? or if the error was on a fire 911 call.
I'll give u guys updates when I hear more!

Re: little update..
I am so glad that you got closure. I am sure she passed peacefully and had no idea about the fire. Prayers up to your gram.
