I watched most of that game...but I missed that dramatic series unfold. Dang.
It's hilarious when people get caught in the act. As pp said, totally happens all the time in basketball [flopping, anyone?].

I think it's only a big deal because it was Derek Jeter. I love the Yankees but I'll always call someone out on something if it's wrong but come on....if you were given a free base would you really speak up, doubtful...
a little bit?? he was writhing around like he'd been shot! he even let the trainers come out and waste everyone's time checking out his "injury". flopping in basketball or soccer (and in soccer you can get a penalty for it) is totally different than pretending to be hurt for no reason.
How is it totally different if they are both faking it?
