that's gonna leave a mark
Went to my first pole dance class tonight. Yeah...I suck. I seriously got dizzy swinging around the pole! My hips don't function as they should be. I gotta look hilarious! And I'm looking forward to the bruises that are going to be appearing soon...especially the insides of my knees and my shins.

Not to worry Brandy - I was at a party a month and 1/2 ago and I even saw one of the newscasters from Channel 11 trying the pole. She wasn't that great either - she didn't fall, but she she wasn't a pro at it or anything. She was just trying it that night. However, she looked liked she was having a blast! During the same night - there was a girl that did land on her butt trying a new move - I felt sorry for her, but only because I knew she was going to have quite a bruise. If was in a room where guys weren't allowed to enter so us girls were laughing and having so much fun! If I wasn't so damn shy - I woulda tried it that night - and I still wish I just would've just tried. It just looked like so much fun!!!
Besides, if its the same crew teaching this that I'm thinking of - these girls are awesome and absolutely no one is there to judge. They all started out in the same boat. AND It's all for fun!!! I was seriously talking to one of the girls, who was trying to get me to join and she actually was taking one of the classes and she said that if really helped her get over her self consciousness and boosted her self confidence as well.
If my husband wasn't laid off right now and we didn't have to watch our $$$$ I'd soooo be there! Glad to hear you enjoyed it!!!
