Whining.

I'm feeling pretty lonely lately. Zig and I have been working pretty opposite schedules and I know that will get fixed soon, but i'm feeling friend lonely.

I used to have somebody i could call my "best friend", dont know if you ladies recall the story i told about my crazy, insane bridesmaid who got married and lied to me about it and then decided she no longer wanted me be my friend or bridesmaid (that was the short of it, we were 10000% best friends and then she turned into a wacko-b!tch). i miss having somebody like that to spend time with and just talk to. I have other friends from college and high school that I still talk to and i love my other bridesmaids, but they either dont live around here, work opposite schedules, or have their own closer friends that they spend their time with. And i dont really know how to meet other people who i could become friends with...with work and taking care of the house and everything...its just hard.

I really wish some of you girls lived near me cause im sure we'd be like freaking awesome friends and i feel closer to so many of you than my friends IRL. I never had that like best friend person until i met the crazy one and i guess now i know how it feels to have one so im missing it even more. NO WAY IN HELL will i ever be friends with her again because what she did to me was unforgivable, but im just missing that connection...you know?

OK ill stop whining now. i love you girls.

I totally understand Kim! With it being football season now, I don't get to Chris much these days either. Or when I do it's usually just in time to have dinner and get in bed.

I've been living up here for 2 years now and honestly, my only friend up here is Jenna. And we only met because of the weddings! If it weren't for her, I don't know that I'd have any friends. Even still, I get pretty lonely - I know she's super busy too.

I wish I lived closer to you! We'd totally be friends.

PS. You can always call/text me whenever you just feel like chatting!

ps its pathetic that aside from my husband, id probably have to consider my cat my best friend, right? LOL (although she is freaking adorable)

I'm sorry hun. I know what you mean. Our last year in Reno was miserable, because my one best friend moved away. My besties from high school were two hours away, but I worked six days a week and never saw them.

Now that I'm back in my home town, all I do is hang out with H when he's home, because he doesn't know anyone here. All his high school friends are still in college.

I don't see my really good friends very often, one lives about an hour away, and H usually takes my car to work, so it's hard to see her.

The other is busy so we only see each other at night, but that's when H is home from work and I want to hang out with him too. 

How far is VA from CT? H and I will be living there in less than a year.

May I say I feel Like this all the time for the past 3 years! I have no friends out here in CT and my best friend back home in Indiana has replaced me with someone else and also just had a kid. We still have things in common and talk like once every 3 or 4 months. 

i was just going to the big E yesterday and thought about you as I could see the building you work in when we went through hartford.

Hang in there. Are there any kind of classes you think you might be interested in. Maybe you could join something to meet people. I've tried this but i'm so socially awkward I end up being the quiet one in class

thats a good idea, deb. i was thinking about taking a few photography classes and maybe i could meet somebody there. but it all depends on my crappy work scheduled if id even be able to go the any classes.
