How was everyones weekend?
Mine was good
Friday was long cause my friend and I drove from Toledo all the way to Columbus, GA. It felt like it was a never-ending car trip
Saturday- we slept most of the day, went to work with the friend we are staying with, she got called out when we were already out, and then we went to a club at night.
Sunday- it was relaxing, spent some time in the pool and watching tv.
Re: How was everyones weekend?
Mine was ok. I finally went with my Dad to BRU and got my new crib and a new crib mattress since I'll need two of those now. That was exciting, but I always feel weird when someone spends a lot of money on me ...
Yesterday was my cousin's 8th birthday party and the girls had a lot of fun there.
My weekend was kind of weird...a lot of staying home...Saturday we went to my moms for the afternoon to see my sister (she was in from Howell) and yesterday we didnt go out until late to get dinner....it was a strange weekend.
Pretty good!
Friday we went out to dinner with my parents and then hung out at home watching football.
Saturday I was up bright and early to be at the NOCC walk at 7am. Volunteered there until about 12:30 then came home to watch more football. Had dinner at Nagoya (pricey but a really fun experience!!!!) for a friend's bachelorette party and then went to Bar Louie for a drink too. Came home, watched a little more football and was out cold.
Yesterday I did some laundry, cleaning, etc. and then DH and I went to look at new phones at Verizon which just made us frustrated and angry, lol. Then I went to visit my friends' new baby boy! Soooo tiny and cute!!!!
<3 Then came home, ate dinner and dyed my hair.
Merin - were you with the pink haired bachelorette party at Bar Louie? We had a girls night on Saturday night and were seated next to a bachelorette party where everyone had pink wigs.
No, but we did see them there!!! That was one of two other bach. parties we saw. I had no idea that Levis Commons was such a popular b-party spot!
When can I do girls night on Saturday night??? Hahahah
We'll have to plan one!
My weekend was good. Friday night, DH got takeout from Mancino's and we stayed in.
Saturday, N8 and I went with my aunt to the Lake HS 5K. It was fun, I'm glad we went. N8 was on the news for about 2 seconds in the background. My aunt is now convinced he's a superstar.
Saturday night, we had a girls' night at Bar Louie. Apparently it's a hot spot to be ;-)
Sunday, we went to my twin nephews' 12th birthday party. I can't believe they are almost teenagers! It seems like they were N8's age just yesterday!
left thurs for frankenmuth and their oktoberfest.... had a blast (as usual). spent to much, ate to much, drank to much....lol!!!!
slept most of the afternoon yesterday after unloading the truck from the trip.
K22t I so want to go to Oktoberfest there, maybe one of these years!
On Friday I went to the gym, then started scraping the crappy paint around the trim of our front door. We watched Date Night when DH got home from work (after 10).
Saturday- painted the trim and caulked. Made chili and had my dad help me with some house stuff since DH works all weekend. Did a ton of shopping. We went to Easy Street for a friends birthday and then we were supposed to go to Metropolis but we bailed on that part.
Sunday-did shopping/returning. Went to the library go some new books. Finished painting and fixing the trim. Gym...
Mine was pretty good.
Friday night we went out to dinner with DH's family for DH and his Dad's birthday and while we waited forever on a table and food, I don't expect not to on a Friday night.
Saturday DH got called in to work super early in the morning but he was home by around noon so we got around and went out for ice cream then we went for a walk and then to the mall and out for dinner. After dinner we went out to BW3 for drinks (they got drinks, I got chocolate cake) with one of DH's buddies.
Yesterday was Chase's birthday so we had pancakes for breakfast then we spent most of the day at Jeds watching football then just came home and hung out for the evening.
The weekend was great, no complaints! Friday night DH had to work until 930 for inventory. I actually stayed up for him to come home, then I crashed.
Saturday DH had to work again, so J & I headed to Harrison Rally Days to hang out for awhile then ran tons of errands. When DH got home he sat and watched football and I did somethings around the house, but really it just felt good to be home.
Sunday we got ready for our cookout/bonfire that we were having. It was great!
Mine was good but exhausting!
We flew to Atlanta Friday morning...get there and the freakin airport is a madhouse! The train to take people to the rental car center was broke down so we had to get in Cedar Point-like lines to hop a shuttle to get our rental. After that we had to find our way back around to the terminals to pick up DH's cousin...that was a chore trying to find our way back in! Friday evening dinner at DH's sister and then I went out with the female cousins and nieces to a male revue. I think i'm still traumatized by that!
Saturay, DH and I found our way to a bar near downtown Atlanta that catered to both Alabama fans AND Pittsburgh Steeler fans...needless to say he was in heaven. We got back in time to catch the tale end of the rehearsal dinner and then spent the rest of the evening hanging out in the hotel bar while everyone was reminiscing and doling out marriage advice.
Sunday I changed my mind on what I wanted to wear so we were at Target bright and early so I could get a black pencil skirt. Hung out around the hotel until the wedding at 4. Beautiful wedding and really cool venue...but definitely a not so great part of Atlanta! It wasn't far from Moorehouse and Spelman Colleges...but as soon as you got past the schools, the neighborhood quickly went downhill! We had to scoot out of there immediately after toasts to get back to the airport. By the time I got home from the airport last night, it was after 1:30 a.m. Really didn't like going a different direction from DH once we got to the airport...but he's now having a blast in Pittsburgh!
