Re: Went 'pooless for the first time last night
Do you mean you did the 'no poo' vinegar and baking soda thing? I haven't braved that but I thought I remember that several people who do it had an adjustment period.

I'm probably going to be no help as I've never tried no 'poo, but I use Dr. B's with vinegar and water for cleaning. I've found that if I use too much Dr. B's in the mix, my surfaces are really oily almost greasy feeling. Maybe you used too much? Just a guess...
Have you tried using ACV as a conditioner? I've used this on my face for treating acne, and it really seems to moisturize without leaving an oily feeling. Bit of a strong smell though
.
I've been doing no poo for a year and a bit. (I did use shampoo twice but on yard work days where the suds made me 'feel' like it was getting the dirt out of my hair better!)
Here are the two best / most hepful links I have found.
Link 1 and Link 2.
They give good tips and FAQs. The adjustment period was about 2 weeks for me. It was Not Fun, but well worth it to get through it as my long straight hair got a bit of body it never had before. I got through it by using a little of the corn starch baby power to help the oiliness.
I never had the "adjustment" period some people talk about, my hair was great from the first use.
Maybe try more baking soda and less ACV?
