Check your voter status!

Election day is a bad time to find out that you're not officially registered so I'm encouraging friends and relatives to check themselves out on the GAB list right away, in time to make corrections if they're needed.   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

- Voters can check the status of their registration online at http://vpa.wi.gov.

-Enter your name and birthdate - mm-dd-yyyy  hyphens are acceptable (results show slashes), and search.

 

-If your name and address come up, you're on the official voting list.   

 

- If your search comes up without a match, you're not on the official voting list and you should try to track down why and get it corrected.  (google your local city clerk perhaps?

 Also my husband is not registered, so where can he go online to get registered?

hmmm. not sure. I think if you contact your city clerk they may have information.  Are you in Madison? Milwaukee? I don't think you can register on line,

Go to http://www.rockthevote.com/ to register online. You still have to mail in your form but you can fill it out online or print it and fill it in.

You can still register to vote on election day when you go to the polls.
