Hey Ladies!
I started the Nuva Ring 2 weeks ago, while I was on my period -- like my dr. told me. My regular periods only last 4 or 5 days, but ever since I started using it, I have continued spotting. It just makes me worried that I don't have the BC in the correct way... because a period is supposed to come once the Nuva Ring is removed.
Just wondering if any of you have advice. I assume it's just my body getting used to the new hormones and such, but since I'm still spotting I just wanted to make sure!
Thanks!!

Hii. I started on NuvaRing last July and LOVED it. I never spotted on it, and my periods got to where they only lasted 2 days, and I wouldn't cramp at all! NuvaRing was just more convenient for me because I was working swing shifts and couldn't find a set time to take a pill. It was great up until August- I had my regular period (the week before my wedding!!), and everything was normal. THEN I started spotting the day of my wedding, I shrugged it off to *stress*... I spotted for two more weeks and went to my Dr, who said I should be fine. Its been almost two months since my wedding and I went from just light spotting to a full blown period everyday. Needless to say, I've switched back to a pill.
