I feel like I've been MIA!!
Sorry ladies, but grad school is kicking my @ss! 
I've been so tired, sore, frustrated, overwhelmed and emotional since it all started! It can only get better from here, right?
DH and i were just up in Tarrytown this weekend visiting with my dad while he was at his 35th West Point reunion. It was really fun! And a touch emotional. 
I don't necessarily agree with the Army, but i'm very proud of my dad and know that USMA was not easy!! And to see how excited he was to be there and how happy he was that we came up for it...too cute. 
But i got a crazy bad sunburn on my right side - ear, face, neck and all of my decolletage/upper chest - at the Army football game cuz i completely forgot sunscreen! Ugh!! 
(that's me mad *and* sunburned!)
And i really need to quit my job. I know i probably sound like a broken record. But the back and forth from NYC to Brooklyn is killing me and cutting down on my me/study time. And my boss has been particularly prickly now that she realizes how gone i am cuz of school. Which we *knew* was going to happen before i even started!!
Hope all of you ladies are doing well! Can't wait for the GTG!!

Thats so nice you were there for your dad. My cousin just graduated from there a few years ago.
What exactly are you going back to school for? It's Dance related right?

I am with you Meg! I have been MIA as well. It sounds like even though you are busy, you are right where you should be. I am sure you'll figure out the job situation soon. Let me know if you need to vent about school. I know it can be overwhelming sometimes.
Work has been kicking my butt and looking for a house and dealing with health issues on top of that have put me over the edge. Hopefully I'll be around here more in the next few weeks...
Emerald - yep, i'm getting my master's in dance education, specifically for higher ed and the professions.
Busybride - i may take you up on that venting offer! My poor DH's ears are going to fall off any day now with all the talking/venting i've been doing!

I'm sorry to hear you're having a rough start with the school semester, but I'm sure once you get a routine going you'll be breezing along.
I'm glad you had a nice time at your dad's reunion and I'm sorry you got sunburned...ouch!
I'd definitely look for something closer to school...that work commute sounds like torture!
