Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

AW: i got a job
i left my last job on July 29th and i will be starting my new job next tuesday. yay! it has been quite the job search. i have to admit that i have been enjoying being a SAHW and while i'm happy that i'll be making some money i shall miss being home.
i had to jump thru eleventy billion hoops for the new job today. i went to HR to fill out paperwork and then i had to go get a physical and then to a hospital for a chest x-ray. they drew blood to see if i need any booster vaccines, gosh i hope not.
OH and the best part! during the urine drug screen i came up hot on amphetamines! wtf?? i haven't taken anything that would cause that. the lady said, "the test looks like it will eventually be negative." what the hell does that mean? she decided i passed the test, but still. i was freaking out for a second. then they had to stick me three times to get my blood. geez louise! all this for $10/hour.
