I hate being a working Mom
I always feel like I'm missing out on J's life and I'm not with him enough, there is guilt there everyday, but today it's a whole lot worse. Last week I requested to take a 1/2 day for a field trip he had coming up. Well turns out I can't take it off because someone else will be out of town for their vacation then and I need to answer phones. I'm just so disappointed, I know there will be other field trips but this is his first one and I know I won't get to do lots of things because of work.
I'm sure the hormones aren't helping right now either, but it just bothers me.

I totally hear you...and its not just hormones.
I've been so crazy with working full-time and school and the kids and the wedding this summer...I hate it. I'm finally done with my undergrad program in December and everyone is all like "What to you want to do with your degree?" I say "Stay home and take care of my family...that's what I want."
They look at me like I'm nuts. Screw feminism...I want to be a stay at home mom!
