DH and I are looking for furniture for our new house...anyone have suggestions for stores other then the Big Box stores.
We don't have a ton to spend and aren't in the market for expensive stuff, but don't want IKEA crap. In other words, we don't have $3,000 for a kitchen table and chairs.
We will be in the Loop this weekend, so anything is the city is great. Otherwise, the burbs are fine too.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!
Re: Furniture Stores...
We got our couch from Darvin. We love it and if we have/had issues, we just give them a call and have someone from an outsourced furniture repair come out.
I would check out: Z gallerie, their stuff can be pricey but if you catch a sale, you can get some good deals.
If you don't mind second hand furniture check out Threads on Milwaukee: it's a resale sale shop but they have TONS of furniture and it's always really cool/unique stuff and in good shape. http://www.threadsetcresale.com/
