Catering Hall in Noblesville for Baptism?

We are getting DD baptized in a few months but I want to start looking at some places for ideas now.  Any ideas where I can reserve a room in a catering hall/restaurant in Noblesville?  This would be a party not just a sit down dinner but somewhere people can get up and walk around.  As for food I am open.  TIA.

Re: Catering Hall in Noblesville for Baptism?

  • We had our wedding reception at Riverview Country Club in Fishers, and it's just off of Allisonville not far from Noblesville.  It's a nice facility, with a great outdoor deck that overlooks the golf course.  You can use any caterer as well, if I'm remembering correctly.  Good luck!
  • I work at Harbour Trees Golf Club...right on Morse Lake in the North Harbour neighborhood. Non-members may rent the banquet rooms (outdoor patio to golf course) at the same rate as members and the food is amazing!! Our chef and his staff will customize whatever you want. 877.3612, Tracy is the banquet manager.

  • Try the parks departments for the area.  A lot of the rentals are picnic shelters, but there are some opportunities to rent indoor spaces as well.  I know that Carmel's Monon Center has some banquet rooms that rent for around $50 an hour.

You could also try asking your friends/coworkers/fellow church members if anyone lives in an apartment complex or a neighborhood with a clubhouse that you could use.  Those are generally free, as long as you know someone that lives there.

If you're looking for a restaurant I know several local ones that also have banquet rooms, and are not too pricey.  Sahm's at 116th & Allisonville is a good one.

Finally, I'm not sure of the timing of when you are having the baptism, but keep in mind that the holidays are coming up and lots of places fill up with companies booking holiday parties.  So you might want to get the location and caterer/food locked down soon.

    HTH!

  • I second IndyRowerGirl- Noblesville has great parks department faciliities.  This one in particular- http://www.cityofnoblesville.org/egov/apps/services/index.egov?path=details&action=i&id=25.  It might be more work than renting a space at a restaurant since you have to set up, get the caterer, clean up, etc.- but it's really pretty in the fall with the leaves outside and the fireplace inside.
