I'm so excited that today is Wednesday. The work week will be half finished at the end of the day and the new season of Criminal Minds starts tonight! Now if only the weather in Indiana would cool down so it would really seem more like fall then all would be good.
What has you saying "yay" for Wednesday?
Re: Yay for Wednesday!
I want to be "yay", but am not.
I felt like such an out-of-place, old lady yesterday. I showed up to my new class and didn't bring my lap-top because I haven't for any other with a few exceptions; plus, the syllabus said nothing. As the class was filling up, everyone was whipping out their laptops. I felt so weird, I left before class started and dropped it this morning. It's like, all the little kids knew to bring it and old lady munkii had no clue.
Maybe not the best way to handle it, but I was freaking out and felt so stupid. Maybe I'll calm down in a few hours.
I get to go have an ultrasound today (no, no baby), which means that I have to drink an abnormal amount of water and hold it until one of the following three things happen:
1) The ultrasound tech, after being late as usual, decides to honor my appointment,
2) My bladder bursts,
or
3) I pee myself.
So, yeah, I'm grouchy. Think they'll let me drink beers instead?
And I was stupid and scheduled it for after work. I should have done it before work, first thing in the morning, when they can't use the excuse "we had a difficult patient before you," or whatever.
Awesome. Doing anything fun?
