Wacky Wednesday

What is the oddest thing that has happened to you this week?

Re: Wacky Wednesday

  • Are we considering "this week" as Monday through today, or anything within the last 7 days? :)
Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time. Midnight Baking Adventures Blog
  • I have nothing yet.  I'll get back to this by Friday if anything weird has happened.

    Last seven days

  • Today I took Charlie to the LA County Fair.  I was changing his diaper in the bathroom and he was throwing a tantrum.  (He rebels against diaper changes, especially public ones.  Plus all the flushing toilets were scaring him.)  So he was crying and this lady who I've never seen before in my life came up and started talking to him.  Then she kissed him!  The odd thing was, it didn't really bug me because it worked, and he got calmer.  I guess she was some kind of baby whisperer. ;)
  • I got nothing yet....which is surprising becasue normally I would hav like 3 stories for you! You ask this question but you did not answer yet....what is yours?

Not too much oddness going on around here, but I will give it a try. The oddest thing that has happened is I was run off the road by a vehicle on the 15 that merged two lanes at a time and apparently didn't look. Luckily for me it was all slow motion (in my brain) and there was a decent shoulder so I was able to swerve off the freeway and didn't get hit. More scary than odd, but the first time I have been forced to go completely off the pavement to avoid a driver coming right at me from the side.

How scary! Good thing you were able to pull onto the shoulder!

  • Ok, I guess this is odd- I was attacked by a mountain lion.... ok, so I lied- but I was attacked by my own cat as my dog was trying to eat him. I got between the two and suffered multiple cat bites on my left foot, right ankle and a broken finger to top it all off... that is definitely out of the norm of my regular routine :)
