Serving wine .....backyard bbq
We'll be serving wine along with beer at our upcoming bbq and I am trying to decide what to serve the wine in. I don't want to break out glasses in the back yard. What do you think about the hard plastic glasses/cups...honestly?
Thanks
Mel

In my humble opinion...plastic is perfect for outdoors. The pp cups are great - and you can find ones like that at Party City, BJ's etc.
I LOVE wine at BBQ's.... wish we were invited.
The little cups pp posted are exactly what I see wine served in any time breakage or clean up is an issue.
If you wanted something a little more permanent, little tumbers like this are nice and are much more durable than wine glasses. I've seen them for cheaper than on that site but it still might get expensive to buy for just one party. It depends on whether you entertain outdoors a lot.

THANKS! I have never used this site...nice
I think I'll be going with the plastic ones posted. I have seen those used before at indoor functions. Seems for outside people always use red plastic cups which I think is okay for beer...just wanted to stray away from that if I could.
Thanks so much for your input!!!!
oh la la I like the Venetian Style Wine Tumblers but no can do for this party:-)
