What's going on this weekend?

I've had all week off work (took off just for fun, had the time and no place to go) so I've sort of been looking forward to my high school reunion this weekend. It'll be my first, my 10 year reunion. It'll be interesting...I suppose, lol. We're supposed to have a picnic to "show off our families," so I'm bringing DH and 2 of my more behaved dogs...

My DH and I are checking out that Twisted Root burger place, then gonna go see Wall Street. Should be fun. I love Michael Douglas!

AggieKimberly, It's good to see someone from Forney.  I graduated from there in 2001.  I am going to the homecoming game today and DH and I are going to the movies on Saturday.

DS and I are attending a first birthday party tomorrow and Sunday we will hang out in the backyard and grill. I hope it cools off a bit.

Hey, ebonis! We were at the game. Things sure have changed a lot in 10 years...especially with the addition of the new high school. It was very anti-climatic. In case it wasn't obvious, I was class of 2000, so your 10 year is coming soon!

 We'll be at the park today. I'll have 2 of my dogs with me 

And my husband is a police officer, too! Fun coincidence!

Sorry I was late in responding but that is pretty cool that we have a coincidence like that.  But I agree with how everything has changed, it was like I was in a new town or something.  How was the "Class of 2000" reunion?

Eh, it was good. Most people still look the same. Most of the people I was friends with in high school couldn't make it, but it was really good seeing the ones that could. And everyone for the most part was super friendly. Its always weird with all those tv shows making you think it may be one way or another (least thats what I was kind of worried about.)
