Dips
My bf's mom is coming over tonight and is bringing fried chicken with her....yes fried chicken. I was planning on making enchiladas and doing some sort of taco dip, but now I need a dip/appetizers to go with fried chicken. Any recommendations would be awesome.

why are you repeating fried chicken like it's the plague. fried chicken is amazing. it goes well with even moar chicken. like buffalo chicken dip.
Beer dip would be a good accompaniment to fried chicken fried chicken fried chicken.
What you really need is some mac & cheese to go with it.

I for some reason can't imagine dip with fried chicken. If I eat fried chicken I must have black eyed peas, boiled okra, possibly fried okra, raw onions, and cornbread.
Mashed potatoes optional.

I agree that a dip isn't really a side that fried chicken calls for.
beet salad? three-bean salad? potato salad and coleslaw, corn bread or corn fritters . . . any of those things would be a much better accompaniment.

It's not to go with the fried chicken. She is bringing mashed potatoes and I would assume some type of veggie. We are watching a football game I DVR'd so I figured we would want a snack type of thing to eat maybe before or after the fried chicken.
I used so many fried chickens because she is buying it from a grocery store and it's not homemade, which is unfortunate.
They have peanut butter dip now!!!!
