Hershey's Pumpkin Spice Kiss Cookies

All the talk about how good these made me go out and get a bag. then another. Then I decided in order to prevent myself from eating them all, I should bake them into something and give them away. So this is what I came up with.

Recipe:

2 sticks of butter (1 cup) at room temp.
2/3 cup sugar (I used a brown & white mix)
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp salt
1 9oz bag of Hershey Kisses Pumpkin Spice

Directions:

Step 1 - cream the butter
Step 2 - add the sugars, then the extract
Step 3 - sift the flour, cocoa powder, salt, nutmeg & cinnamon.
(Poor girls' sifter = mix with spoon in a bowl)
Step 4 - gradually add flour mix to batter, a couple of spoons at a time
Step 5 - refrigerate dough for 1 hour
Step 6 - peel kisses!
Step 7 - shape dough into small balls, place on cookie sheet
Step 8 - place kiss on each ball, push down to flatten ball
Step 9 - bake 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 375
Step 10 - let cool
